I recently found a pro chassis and links on ebay for $40. So, i bought it. I have never swapped a chassis. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

So do you have all the pro stuff chassis, skid, upper and lower links?
Check out some of the pro builds get the chassis skid and links together then swap the rest over.
Not sure if thats what you ment buy tips sorry. Any other questions just ask I,ll try to help.

I get mounting the motor, trans, suspension and axles. Havent figured out where the electronics are going to go. Just trying to find any kind of helpful hints.

It's reality easy to change the chassis out I can't remember of hand but I think the lower links r the same from the rtr to the pro chassis just better placement for them with the pro chassis is a 4 link set up so if u r runing the rtr chassis now u will need to get a 4 link mount front and rear or make one the rtr is a 3 link set up depending in what u r running electronics u can mount every thing on the upper links u can check out my build thread if u have any ? I'll help The best I can
