I'm sure they are very nice shocks, but I can't see spending $70 for a set of them.

If the work as good as the T Maxx powerstroke shocks they used to do they will be worth every penny, I would just make sure If I sell a rig take these off and put some others on and save for a new build "thumbsup"

Exactly what I was thinking. I have a set of the Powerstroke Maxx shocks and they're still going strong. After owning the Maxx versions...I'd be more likely to pay the $70 for these. I hope they are just as nice.

I wonder what these look like set-up in droop? The diagram kinda shows but does or can anyone take a pic of these set-up in droop?

Well then your other option (if you want a nice scaler shock) is to buy some rc4wd's that stick for $60. It's too early to tell but I doubt these will have the sticking problems that the RC4wd's have.

I'll pay $10 extra for some shocks that work like they should.

IN STOCK You guys who already ordered should have mid week next week. Run them and post up your thoughts please "thumbsup"

Want to order some. Just want to get a heads up to make sure my package hasn't left yet Corey. I'm sure it hasn't, but let me know and I'll place my order for the shocks. 8)

Time to sell something.
I'll be ordering a set as soon as I have the money.

Got mine yesterday. I sealed the top o-ring and o-rings in the bottom cartridge with Associated green slime. I noticed that the bottom cartridge was loose on my shocks (tighten these down if you do not want your oil leaking out!) The shocks are smooth compared to stock SCX10 shocks.

Rough measurements:

Shock body outer diameter = 10mm
Compressed length ( @ 90 mm length) = 70mm
Top shock mount is a molded spacer with ball end (nice touch Proline).

Only BAD thing...no instructions!!! I have been building shocks for 20+ years so it was no issue, but for others, it should be included.

Got mine yesterday...thanks Corey.

Very nice indeed...just what I was expecting from Proline after owning their other Powerstrokes.

These are going to be so sweet set up as droop with internal springs.

Instructions for what? They come completely pre-assembled. They show you the fill level for the oil on the back of the card. Only other thing they haven't done for you is replace the lower rod end with the longer one.
