My family had owned a '79 F150 XLT Ranger Jade on Jade since new, I subsequently purchased it from my Dad in 2005.
To cut to the chase, I cashed out after COVID as the market went crazy; I could essentially double what I had in it.
People will say what they will, but I had it almost twenty years. I made a ton of new memories with it and I had redone the body once and it was starting to show signs it would need it again. I had just put a lift/level on my daily at the time so I felt it was time for me to move on.

Fast forward to recently and I came across the TRX4M F150 High Trail body in a very close green.... It's time for another build.

I'm going to do a Low Trail conversion;

On order is a Shrink RC interior and bed cover.

Heck yea!

I’m waiting for an ‘85 super cab with the split rear side window. JC has a monster truck that’s close enough but not smaller than 1/10th.

@hnoroian, I wonder why between the two body styles they went from a "full window" to the split?

Gosh, I wish they made these Rover Classics in a 1.0. With some paint, this is exactly the wheel to match. I mean, the 1:1 was a hubcap, but no one needs to know.

Tonight I went through my TRX4M parts to dig out things I have that I might use on this build.
I found a TRX steering link in blue, some metal hexs, Method bead locks with new tires and some other bits and bobs.

I started with disassembling the wheels I found and building them back up with foams on the stock wheels.

I also got the Pro Scale light kit installed.

I personally think it looks better already with the smaller tire.

Now I just gotta wait for more stuff to arrive
