Haha! Yeah I miss that ol' gal. It was part of a decal sheet set that a buddy and I went in halfers on. We got it from RPP Hobby. I think it was $30. I need to put her back on there. When I moved the battery tray to the front I took it off, but since I have a Dinky box in the rear now I should put her back on. :D

Here's the link for it, http://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/rppuds2.htm

That's all for now. Stay tuned folks. "thumbsup"

Just wanted to share some recent update pix. The newest mod to the truck was the fastback mod. I went the budget route for now and just used some extra links I had lying around. Looking to get either the DMG Stiffy kit or a BGR cage soon though. Anyways, on with some pix. :)

Right after I snipped the cage we got a pretty decent snow storm so I got out and had some fun.

Then the following day we got even more snow so I headed back out again. :)

I was also told some great news by a RC buddy to the North that my truck was in his newest edition of RC Driver. So I set out to get my hands on a copy after the snow melted and I finally found one.

The truck is featured in the April 2014 issue of RC Driver, and it's the Showoff of the Month! I was very pumped to find this info out, especially since I'd been featured a couple years ago with my Jeep build. I like that I got a half page again and the fact that they also included the shot of the harnesses I made and am now currently taking orders for.(PM for more info if interested) Here's hoping that I make the Showoff of the Year and win the big prize of $250 worth of RC goodies. Anyhow, here are the pix. :)

Like I've mentioned before, I've still got big plans for this truck and it's always evolving, slowly but surely, so stay tuned folks!

That has to feel awesome man. Congrats on the magazine spot and also an awesome build. Your attention to detail incredible. I look forward to what you have in store.

Great looking truck man. Also props to you for using the truck and having fun and not spending loads of money on shiny parts! And your still running the stock steering linkage too!

The 5 point harnesses are sweet.

Thanks for the compliments fellas! I usually don't build anything I'm not planning on using. :D

A few updates.

I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a new set of wheel, and I couldn't be any happier with the end result so far. :D I picked up a set of LockedUpRC's 2.2 aluminum Rock Cutter beadlocks. I was initially just planning to get a set of their rings and scale hardeware for a set of Axial 8 holes, but RC4WD had a full set of the aluminum 2.2's and when it came down to crunching numbers I came out with a better set of wheels, with hardware, for only $30 more. They came in plain aluminum, but with a few good coats of paint I turned them into these.....

All the scale hex bolts were time consuming but well worth it.

I also snapped a couple better shots of the fastback mod and rear goods.

I'm super pumped at how well these wheels turned out. I'm still looking for a good center hub to go with them. LockedUpRC was out of stock on theirs when I was ordering the wheels and I really didn't care for the ones RC4WD had. I'm looking forward next week to our vacation to Vegas and Utah. Can't wait to get some good shots of the truck with the badass new wheels and all that awesome scenery.

Stay tuned folks!

It's been a while. Thought I'd post up some of my more recent pix. Took a 2 week trip out West back in March and got a lot of cool shots of my Wraith along the way. Here are some of the pix I took with my phone. Hoping to have the DSLR versions finished soon. Enjoy. :D

Grand Canyon was the last stop before heading back to Vegas for the flight home. Hoping to get back out that way very soon. Stay tuned kids!

This is a great shot.

Hope you had a good trip to my neck of the woods, Ha Ha or desert.
I plan to get down to southern Utah this fall and get some pics of my rigs. I love it here we have such great terrain all over the state.
