Project "Tombstone" R.I.P "Rest In Pieces"

I refused to put the servo on the axle. Only problem was Vp does not have a panhard mount. I saw Norm at Team3six made his own mount for Teeny, so I contacted him and he was willing to fab one up for me. Here it is on the front axle.

Finally got this put together today. Ran it for 5 minutes and the VVD snapped. Very disappointed. Other than that it seemed to perform well. I'm going to try and get some super 300's that can hopefully handle my abuse. Still a few things to finish up also, such as the Quicksand winch:twisted:

110mm King shocks
Vp links
Maddog rc light bar
pro4 3300
mmp
bec pro
cut Iroks
Vp omf beadlocks
Vp housings

Got my Super 300 HD's installed with Wraith knuckle mod installed before my dune trip. These things are crazy beef! And the 70* of steering OMG! I'll need to do some serious link bending to get the tires to clear, should be fun. Also added M2 nuts to the ring gear/locker bolts for added strength.

Put a overdrive ring and pinion up front too, really helps with turning and guiding the truck.

Ran like a champ through 5 2200mah 3s packs until the top tranny gear gave while crawling over a boulder. I was very impressed with how it handled in the dunes, I know it's a super heavy rig but I could climb nearly any hill.

Snapped the panhard axle mount while I was down there, but whipped up a beefier, uglier one to keep me going.

It was pretty tippy at high speed but this aint no desert racer.

On to the picks.

The shock bolts bent up after a couple jumps. So I decided to revamp the shock hoops and hood hold down. Raised the rear shocks and double sheared. This should be strong enough for the 2013 Axialfest G6.
