I'm shopping around for a new crawler kit and I'm pretty sure I'm going with the Scx10.2 raw kit. Looking at bodies and I really want this 2020 Ram but it's a 1/8 scale with 12.65" wheelbase. Not far from the 12.3 on the chassis. Anyone know if I can make it fit and look good? Any way extend front or rear axles about 3/8 of an inch?

Other option is the redcat 8 kit which can go a bit longer but not sure about quality and aftermarket support....

You’ll just need to extend your rear links a bit and it will work out. You can try a longer rod end or getting custom made links.

Places like hardcore Rc and others will sell links by themselves so you just need to come up with the measurements to stretch it about a third inch.

What Topher said.

Don’t underestimate the Redcats. They are pretty capable. I was surprised when I seen a video review on it, it kept up with the TRX4.

Keep in mind you'll want to extend only the rear while leaving the front end alone. Adjusting the front end will throw off your steering geometry so its best to leave it where it is.

You also may need a slightly longer rear driveshaft. I dont know if Axial still includes all of the extra lengths of their driveshafts but if so you should get what you need in the kit.

I am pretty sure when I built mine, it had the links for the longer wheel base. If not look on Amazon and get the text Ti set of links and use them. $20 and you can beat the hell out of them.
