proline cheyenne rims

i was thinking on buying these rims, my question is how do you narrow them do you just cut the back bead off and slide it forward like a stampede rim or do you leave a little bit of material next to the bead and glue back on to the rim, your input will be very helpful,thanks gary.

Just remove the desired material, and glue the inner bead back on. I left about 3/16" on the inner bead side, and cut all the way to where the webbing starts on the outer bead side. Final wheel width ended up at 1 and 7/8". Hope that helps.
