Wondering if anyone has used the Proline Flat Irons. I have been looking for some new tires. I really want the Hot Bodies Rovers. But I don't like they size. Proline advertises the Flat Iron as soft and I like the "stock" size of them. I am currently running the stock Redcat tires with no foams. They do ok. How will the Flat Irons measure up?

the flatirons are better than the stock tires but not even close to the rovers. if you plan on rock crawling the flatirons wont cut it, go with the rovers. there well worth every penny, you'll pull lines you thought were impossible and they fit the RS10 pretty good.

The flatirons are okay for a scaler rig , tried them on my cat didnt climb rocks too good, went too the hb sedonas wow, climbs anything with ease now, flatirons look cool but lack performance in different areas, my 2 cents.

So no go on the Flat Irons? I am actually satisfied with the stock tires. So I was curious if I would get any increase or decrease with Proline. My cat is just a backyard stomper. Not trying to make it comp worthy.

I used Swamp Dawgs with every other little lug cut and they were good for trail ridin and mud, but they suck on anything that requires traction. Irons are cool for scale appearance, but for performance buy either Rovers, Boss Claws or Sedonas!

Ijust thought what other type of tire i liked on my cat, it was the panther cougers an panther leopards, they are cheap an they work pretty good in all types of weather an terrain, your cat will thank you!"thumbsup"

You will probably be satisfied with your stock tires until you put on a set of nice tires...then you'll wonder what you were thinking before. If you don't like the size of the rovers...go for something like losi rock or comp claws, proline chisels, or panther cougars. They're all smaller diameter tires and are worlds better than the stockers. Your tires will actually be predictable when they have foam in them and are made from a good compound.
