proline's new crawler body

The ROCKSTAR body was made just for the competition crawler in mind. The size, styling and shape is excatly what we need. It is small enough to allow full clearance of all steering throw and wheel travel. The dove tailing provides tons of clearance for that movement and allows easy travel through rocks, etc. There is absolutely no trimming needed on this body.

The hood was raised significantly(in comparison to the old Rock Pleaser), nearly to the roof height, to allow easier roll overs back onto the rigs wheels. The side windows were slanted in for easier forward progress through low hanging ledges and trees.
The body is super light weight. Lightest body out there, that I know of. This is a must have body for the 2.2 class.

IMHO, I hate it. It looks weird to me. Looks too small. Maybe Im the weird one. bug body looks way better.

It still looks better than the Grappler in my opinion, but both bodies are function over form. With so many performance aspects taken into consideration, I think Proline did an admirable job in the looks department.

Rockstar & Grappler are the 2 bodies I'd ever run on a comp rig. The bug is hideous imo.

Nice work Proline. "thumbsup"

The grappler is one of the ugliest bodies Ive ever seen. But I dont really like this one either.. Why they always make the cabs so damn squared?? Just doesnt flow at all with the rest of the curves on the body. The base though I would imagine it will be good for comps.. Just not very nice to look at.

Yuck...I hate it, what is Proline thinking?!
Not that I'm biased or anything LOL

Just kidding Scott if you're reading this :-P

More options for the Rock Crawling community can only be good.

If only they were already out.. I'd like to test it. I had my Grappler body about as high as that one is, and with my set up, I managed to get the wheel high enough to rub (at an extreme Angle), which then ate the body, and bent it under itself.

I wanna see if this will do the same thing, or if it is a bit better.

They were thinking that you hit one out of the park with the Grappler body and that there must be something to this RC Crawler stuff!

I like it! I'm a big Proline fan as well and I think they did a great job. I'll definitely be getting one as well as the Grappler. The Hell with the Bug bodies, they aren't even cool looking IMO, not to mention they're way played out. It's time for something new as far as I'm concerned. Change is good.

Sweet dude can I use this picture ;-) Now I do not know if I am going to run the grappler or not

Nice addition Proline. Helps to give us more choices. I'll get one!, Of course, I'd buy just about anything RC related if I can afford it.

What is the price on this? Hopefully it will be in line!;-)

From a technical standpoint, the new proline body is probably better than a grappler. I will stick with my grappler + bug bodies though, since they actually look good compared to this;-)

That is ugly and I'd still have to cut it up to get it to fit on my 2.2 decent:roll:

I'll keep hacking up Jato sized body's instead.
