I just recently learned that is the same body as the element trail walker, but scaled down to a 10" wheel base. I'd have a hard time buying one for almost $300 when the TW is $249.

Side note: if you see that truck in game: run, don't walk away from it. It's slow and you WILL get capped if you're driving it. :)

Regarding the styling matching the Trailwalker, Thunder Tiger merged with Team Associated, the parent company of Element, back in 2005.

Personally, I would have bought the little thing if the wheelbase was just a tad longer - I needed something to drop my Pro-Line Sumo body on top of...

But I picked up a ECX Barrage kit instead, got my 10" wheelbase (252mm, not 242mm) that way!

It has a similar build, but bearings throughout and a 390 motor instead of a 380.

That's been out for a minute, I don't think it is new. I recall seeing it on the interwebz this summer I think.

It's a drag that Horizon Hobby discontinued the ECX Barrage kit, it came with literally everything needed except paint - for a whopping $179.99.

I consider myself lucky to have snapped up the last one at a LHS in San Antonio a couple weeks ago - and the Pro-Line Sumo body has ALSO been discontinued.

Wanted to build a Samurai for the truly-tiny-tire experience as a near-replica of my late father's last daily-driver.

Will be installing the Boom Racing narrow steelies and matching Mud Trophy tires for something much less capable than my other rigs, for use on mellower terrain.

Sometimes it can be fun artificially limiting your vehicle to make an easy crawl spot that much harder!

When I switched from 5.7" tall tires to 4.7" on my Enduro it became fun to drive again. But I did not like the 1.55 life lol. Maybe after I get tired of 1.9s or better at driving I'll step down a notch. "Training Wheels" lol

I just came across this "pubg" 1/12 pickup, pretty neat looking truck.

anybody know if it has similar capabilities to the cr12.

it looks pretty fast and bouncy, not exactly crawler capable to me.

does anybody have one, can it crawl or just go fast, skidding and bouncing as it goes?
