I'm building a TLT 2.2 mudder/trail truck. It's gonna see a lot of muck and a little water. As long as I lube the bearings and replace them once in a blue moon, they should be ok right?

I run in a bunch of mud to. I was running bearings in the TLT axles but I had two bearings lock up while I was driving it in the mud. It got grit from the mud inside the bearings. It only happenned to the bearings in the steering knuckle so I put bushings in them and have had no problems.

try these they are rubber sheild and cheep enough to get two sets for extras, if you clean and lube them regualary they might stand a chance.
