Question about Nomadio React...

Anyone know why I can't get it to do reverse? I reset the speed control so it should be doing reverse, but I get almost no wheel movement when I put it in reverse all the way. The nomadio information only shows the throttle as being throttle or brake. It shows no where that reverse is adjustable or usable. Anyone ever hear of a problem like this?

i would agree, you should just need to push the trigger back for reverse. check your throatle channel for Brake End Point Adjustment. Make sure it is atleas at 20. if your brake EPA is at 5 or 0, then that is why, your not sending any signal saying reverse. but i suspect Ehills is right and the ESC (which brand/model btw) is only setup for fwrd/brake settings

It's not the ESC...

The ESC is a Castle Creations Sidewinder. And it worked just fine with the sidewinder. And I just reset it and programmed it properly (hold trigger down while you turn it on, switch to full reverse, then neutral, then it resets). I have reverse but it is INCREDIBLY SLOW. It has to be the Nomadio.

I was hoping someone could tell me what settings they are using on their React so I could use the same settings, then tweak from there. It has to be something with the settings. Here's a screen shot of how I have the settings set up...

hmm not sure, looks pretty good to me. increase your brake endpoint and see if you do get more speed. i ll double check my setup.

im running my react on a Novak Goat setup, and ran it previously on my Rooster combo with absolutly No issue.

i would change the servo type from Digital to Analog. thou the ESC is digital, its desiged to communicate in analog, so swith it to analog, it may or maynot (most likely) will help with your limited reverse.

thanks...

I'll try switching it to analog and see what happens. I'm going to hook it up to the computer (the ESC) and see what the settings tell me. Something might have gotten messed up somehow. I think I'll put my Profi Car 403 back in to see if the ESC still behaves the same so I can narrow down what is causing the problem. Thanks for the input.

heres some screenies of my desktop.

im using this on my Goat setup in my scaler build

1st one is the throttle/brake screen
2nd is the 3rd chnl which im running the VFdig with a hited 255? servo
