quick fix for the drive shaft

i flipped thre shafts female on the tranny and male tip on the axle side, the female apears to be stronger! then zipti the male side

i changed them to excelorator shocks with 50 weight, one sec on the pics

i got the excelorator shocks from hobby people! did you notice i moved my trany for straighter drive shafts and battery inside chassi

plus move upper links to the first hole!! less bind straighter pinion angles

now the small end that is splined is going to take all the beating that the other end was able to withstand,and how will it slip after a days crawling ,not very well i suspect.. i think ill just add a metal ring instead of a zap strap....?

If you want to make your drive shaft stronger,you'd be better off adding female section. You only need about 1/4" of slip in your shaft anyway. Add a section of female so your shaft looks like this.....

rock sliders

Beau, what did you use for the rock sliders? seen best in the after picture mounted on the chassis between the two lower link mounts. they look like they work great

Im still not sure I understand the point of this fix. My shafts kept falling off the tranny outdrive but I put a spring inside the driveshafts and they havent fallen off or comem loose again.

Sliders are cool on your chassis and the tranny relocation is sweet. Nice work.

I fixed the front driveline with an emaxx drive shaft! Installed the same way you do for a Bender chassis TLT. I have had them on my TLT for almost two years with no failure.

Haven't figured out the rear yet, the emaxx shaft is to wide and won't clear the gear.
