Quick wheel question

Aluminum if you can. Stripped 2 plastics so far
What plastic wheels did you strip. Plastic is light, tough, and cheap. How tough is the hex in the Traxasxas nylon wheels. ??????? I would hate to glue a set of paddles on and strip the hex :(.

Proline Titus Beadlocks, I thought they'd be tougher.
Live & learn................

I would of thought that Plastic wheels would be better for FOFF,

Wouldn't aluminum wheels but alot more punishment on the drivetrain, steering etc.

you are travelling at buggy speeds right?

Buggy speed hell yes. I would like to use plastic wheels but after hearing about the proline wheels. I dont know. ?

either way you are bound to blow a bead with FOFF style power. Your best bet is Axial wheels. They have a deep hex and an aluminum beadlock.

hello, i am running titus 1.9 beadlocks with a vxl in my scx10 i havent had any problems and i have 4oz weights in them. just thought i say something "thumbsup"

I've destroyed multiple proline, axial, and traxxas wheels. I had to resort to running delrin beadlocks and have yet to mess one up, or blow a bead, regardless of how rough I am on my rig...which is pretty darn tough

Are you talking about wrecking the hexes. I am not having trouble with axial wheels or proline. Thats weird.

Please post pics of this destroyed wheel. I would like to see them. :)
