I'm not sure how far we will go since it's the first time there. I'm taking four 3s 2250 batteries and two 3s 3000 batteries. Also taking two small bottles of water. Be sure to bring some water.

The trout ponds are always the same. Just watch for hoboes smoking meth in the small camps

I asked because there is a 'freebie' coming soon and since I haven't been to Mt. Baldy (Click to see map) in awhile, I thought we would want to take advantage of the fee free day.

I'm thinking Saturday, February 15, 2014.

Yes. I already printed the web page and made 10 copies. I also highlighted in yellow "February 15-17, 2014 – President's Day Weekend."

I don't want to take any chances with some bureaucrat.

Do you guys post up gtg's to Forrest falls on this thread? I would like to go back there again. I've been crawling to Baldy, loved it and would like to join you guys but that's valentine's weekend. My wife would neuter me.

Good point, however it's not an all day thing. Figure about three hours max. I have to leave no later than two so I can make it to my Mom's to make her dinner and give her, her medication by 3PM.

Forest Falls is to far for me on a regular weekend when I need to get back by 3PM.
