Looking to get into boats now. Interested in the new Traxxas Titan VXL that's coming out this month.

Anything else worth looking at? I'd say $400 is the absolute maximum....

If it is 400$ you have then this traxxas is a one way for speed and fun.
I personally never owned a readyset boat, but then all my hulls are 700+.

Check the Geico threads on OSE. They are using bigger batts with no probs and getting speed. It's a nice package.

I just got a Kintec Prince with the 3/16 upgrade and SV 1800k motor.
I have only run it on 3s so far and its awesome all ready.
I have a CC hydra 120 and a 4s ready to put in it now.

i have a sv-27,love it!
brass prop is a must.
1st run with my sv with the stock composite prop,
got a tad too close to the bank,chopped a stick that was
hangin in the water,had only made 2 laps around the pond.:evil:

miss gieco boat is 1500 kv stupid fast and I'm running 2 4s 5000mah lipos 45 to 65 c not stock prop the stock one is plastic and flexy
