RC Crawling & Trailing video game anyone?

So, the other day I was reading an article about the Greek crew that won the Borneo Camel Trophy back in the '90s, and since then a crazy idea stroke me.

It would be cool to see a video game, 3rd person style, like The Last of Us or Uncharted that would go around adventure driving in different terrains and enviroments, like the Camel Trophy.

It would be nice to have some licensed trucks and upgrade them, some techincal driving techniques or even an in-game driving academy for off-road, like the Gran Turismo series had for on road.

What do you guys think?

I for one would be quite interested in a scale crawler game like this. Back in the day I had a pc game on a cd (yes I am old! :ror:) that is very much like you are describing except that it was backyard track racing with 2wd electric buggies, think RC10. You raced around obstacles in the back yard, up and over decks and patios, through puddles and such. If you got too close to the doghouse a dog would run out and grab your buggy and shake it in it's mouth just long enough for a buggy or two to get by before it would drop it. If you won a race you could go shopping for upgraded items like better tires, motors, bodies, shocks and other upgrades.

I think a crawling game with the opportunity upgrade your rig by completing certain courses would be an absolute blast!! You could have comp crawling, trail runs and backyard crawler courses to mix it up a little.
