Hi guys,
New to crawling and decided to add another type of vehicle to my already huge collection of r/c habits I have around! Ended up with the Rock Rider.
The kit is unbelievable as far as quality and being bulletproof. Everything CNC'd and other than being a little tight which should get better over time with use, everything was pretty dang impressive.
Except for one thing. The suspension geometry. It blows. I have all the linkages connected up and the shocks off just to test the fluid movement and how much binding there is? Wow. Horrible! It binds near the top, has extremely limited articulation and is nothing short of a mess. I have emailed the company to see if I did something wrong building wise, but I'm pretty(ok, extremely anal) about making sure everything is smooth and moving nicely.
I believe it's partially the ball links fault in not letting things move the way they should. I have a TXT that has better articulation than this thing. I'm hoping to change that within the next few days so I'll keep you posted.
Just wanted to see if anyone else had run into this.
