Rc4wd 1977 suburban

Is it possible to mount the front shackle through the frame at the back of the front spring and move the stationary hanger to the front of the front spring, like the 1:1 K-series?
I originally wanted to do that, but based off of the wheel base that it has now that would not be possible

There are two holes on the front of the frame but they do not match up with the stationary hangers. (Too close together)

Love the engine and parts! Any idea if the headers will fit the Rc4wd v8? Where do you get them? Been trying to make a set for my K5 TF2 project...

It looks great. I wish I had that type of skill with styrene. I think it would look a little better with slightly larger tires like on the red blazer that is next to it in one of the pics. [emoji106]

Thanks man. Yeah i really want that stock look. I need to get some tamiya leaf springs because they are slightly longer and will sit lower too.

However it did really well, I was very surprised.

Certain angles look spot on.

But it will be lowered about half an inch soon

You nailed the stock look right on the head. I agree that lowering it 1/2 inch will make it look even better.

Swapped the stock tires on the the k5 for kicks. They look like 31s to me

Believe it or not but this is a fad on k5s where im from.

The k5 is gonna get lifted taller to fit some bigger 1.5s

Suburban looks better with the larger tires for sure. I think that they really round out the build.

seen this on bleepinjeep channel. burb looks good with the taller tires. but it would be sick lowered a lil bit more on the stockers. so scale!
