Rc4wd Outcry esc

Lipo or nimh it doesn't matter as it has no programming options. I had one and I would say it is defiantly because you don't have a bec that you are experiencing these problems. Your reciever is not getting power which is causing it to do uncontrollable things.

Hope this helps"thumbsup"

Actually they have a 3 amp turbo BEC enclosed in shrink wrapped type material so thats not the problem. or its no good, so it does have a BEC at least my new one did, but it does sound like you said, the receiver was not getting the signals right. ????

My brand new one would not work. servo and fan worked but no reverse and forward all or nothing, on and off, then nothing, noise a jerk and no motor operation at all.

My new one that did not work, part # Z-E0024
Specs below.

I bought this new and it did NOT work, fan and servo, but no reverse. forward on and off again, jerky, no modulation. Then no motor movement, some noise a jerk and then nothing. It is supposed to be plug and play, ready to go. I agree it sounds like the receiver is not working with the ESC, but is has a BEC , switch and no set up button. I sent it back but wasted time and effort and shipping 2 ways for nothing more that a hassle.

I also bought it but on the trail finder 2 rtr kit I have the bec on just like it came wish there was a good set of directions letting me check the direction the bec plugs into esc anyone know if black wire should be up or down on side of esc maybe it's backward will that ruin it if I flip to see
