Sunday I ended up with a virus (fakealert) when I logged on to rcc and talk about a bitch to get rid of. This morning when I logged on from work my work server logged an attack. Both cases were right after opening a forsale section ad.

My av caught something yesterday when I went into the electronics section. Haven't seen it since.

My laptop had a gnasty virus on it a week and a half ago, no idea where it came from, hope it wasn't here......

My GF's computer picked something up a few days ago while I was surfing this site and another site at the same time. Figured it was the other site at the time, now I'm having second thoughts.

There it is, 'Vista Antispyware' virus, logs show it came from RCC. Norton's missed it, seeing if Malwarebytes will clean it...

Looks like RCC will be via my phone for a little while.

So by saying "vista antispyware" that should only effect windows vista? Sorry I'm not good with computers haha

mine was screwed up a few weeks ago, gixter worm and some other shit that came up asa fake warning and wouldnt let me use avg or malware or go online..basically had to wipe the slate clean and lost some stuff...fun

I don't have any anti virus...Google Chrome must be keeping me safe, last thing I wanna do is boot up in Vista, hack through my xp hd and track down the bug and wipe it.

It looks like Malwarebytes did the trick. The virus hit when I was posting in the electronics forum, might be one of the banner ads infected...

Fracking theives!

I had one yesterday that was a bitch to get rid of. There is an ad banner at the bottom for BitDefender that I mistakenly clicked I think trying to hit the forum jump. The virus showed itself as BitDefender Core, a fake anti-spyware worm. Just an FYI.

malwarebytes was the only thing I found to get rid of it. I lost several programs that I have to reinstall now.

Typically its not this site, or the site you are but linked pictures from other sites.

Especially imageshack and photobucket.
