RCC Won't Remember Login Info (Firefox). What To Do?

Hey y'all,

Several weeks ago, RCC went down for some maintenance (or something) and ever since then my home PC will not remember my login info. for RCC. All other websites/forums are fine. My laptop and work PCs are fine, but my home PC simply will never remember my login info so I have to re-login each time.

All systems above are using Firefox. For the life of me, I can't figure out what the problem is, but I'm no Firefox expert. It's almost as if RCC is blocked from remembering my info, but that doesn't appear to be the case when I look through the Firefox settings.

This is getting to be a hassle so if anyone has any words of wisdom to share, please do! :)

Thanks,
Tommy

Mine works fine. Try deleting all your cookies, browse/search info and active logins and whatnot. That way you have to sign in to everything again and hopefully firefox will give you the save login popup. Mine does everytime i delete and re-signin.

You can do everything ScalerLover suggested. It may just be an issue with a previously saved password. to reset that just go to Tools, Options, Security, Saved Passwords and then find the one for rccrawler. delete it and delete cookies and reopen rccrawler page and login. should ask to save your password and check the "remember me" checkbox. hope it works out for ya.

That's what I would do.

Thanks... I'll give it a try when I get home. Not sure what happened to cause this and I was hoping not to have to delete all my cookies, but if that's what I need to do, it's a small price to pay. :)

Can just try to delete the saved password and see it that works before you delete the cookies...

Thanks, I need to do this too. RCC is the only site where Firefox will not remember my password. It used to, up until a few weeks ago.

You don't have to delete all of your cookies, you can selectively choose which cookies you want to delete (I'm running Firefox 3.5.8 ) by going to Tools -> Options -> Privacy and clicking on "remove individual cookies", this will bring up another window where you can type in "rccrawler" in the search box then select and delete the cookies for rccrawler only.

Thanks, y'all! I deleted the cookies only for RCC and then re-logged in and everything's been fine since.

John, not sure how to explain this, but I will try. :-P

Is there a way to delete all the cookies except for the ones that have to do with the people's names I click on at the bottom? Might sound weird, but I click on friends names so they light up green and are easier to see quickly.

Why not just use the sites "friend" feature?
