RCC's slow demise?

I'm still just waiting for the thread to come back to subaru bang bros and tits.....

oh and can't forget bacon"thumbsup"

Helpful Tips
RCC is a fun place, we try not to keep people from having a good time so just remember a couple things.
1) You gotta be able to take some ribbing around here to survive.
2) Respect is earned, not deserved.
Those are key to a happy life on RCC as I see it.
Use the search feature alot, there is an enormous amount of information here. Search before you post.
Read the stickies at the top of each section, they are there for good reason.
1BJB Also states he hates the "LIKE" button, don't use it. Unless you really want to, its your freedom as American. Or Norwegian or whatever you are here on RCC. Even Canada, we all know Canadian Beer is like moonshine, Molson Ice and all.

Here is picture of a young woman getting ready to ride in a nice subaru. She prefers a manual transmission, she prefers to work the stick and double clutch EVERY shift.

Subarus suck... my car is a really nice junk wagon. The quicker people realize what an unreliable shit wagon they are if you mod them the quicker you are to spend your money more wisely...which is what I did with the chevelle.

except people are lazy and will continue to use it if its there...

also this picture is highly false...about the only thing a subaru is dropping is a piston ring land, 5 speed 2nd or 3rd gear, r160 spider gears, oil pick up tubes and tool boxes full of all the tools your gonna need to fix it

My friend's ex ho drove an STI. It went through 2 turbos during the warranty period. Everybody else I know that has a Subaru loves it.

I was more questioning why people hate Subaru drivers though.

My service writer drives a WRX with a giant wing and a fart-can muffler, and I don't hate him. :flipoff:

He's a real cool dude...

Why do people hate plastic links and trans gears? Sometimes they just do. Rather than ignoring it and going about their day they choose to dwell on it and drive the subject directly into the ground like Thor's mother fawking hammer.

Everybody hates plastic links and gears. Dat was fookin' lame. You're better than this, WT!

If they're stiff enough to run for a bit I'm ok with them. If I don't have to pay a premium for metal junk I'm not going to use anyway then I'm ok with that too! As is I bet I could pull $75-100 out of the stock crap I don't want to help offset the aftermarket parts I do want that are better than anything they'd possible include otherwise.

Subi drivers aren't such an issue around here. They're at least nice enough to coast all the way over the fog lines when their junk breaks down again.

Well I hate to piss but I do drive a BMW, but this is Florida, where it’s flat and no snow, don’t see many Subaroos here except for a WRX now and then

Hang up and Drive

Facebook is certainly draining membership, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Think of it as culling the herd. Those with short attention spans and a deep need to post toy truck selfies are better there than here. Leave RCC to the builders and fabbers.

Facebook is certainly pulling away vendors, and that is a bad thing. They offer an incredible amount of exposure for essentially no cost. Having been a vendor here and on FB, and looking at it purely from a cost/profit perspective, RCC falls way, way short. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the spirit of community we used to have has gone away. It's certainly not like it used to be. Lowering the entry fee to become a vendor here might help, but not so much that it becomes a free for all.

I like the like button. It really streamlines threads, and you don't have to wade through pages of compliments to get to the stuff that actually matters.

I'm on the fence about opening the classifieds section up. Having to be a somewhat invested/established member to access them just seems like a smart thing to do. For everybody. Yes, PP gives us a certain degree of protection, but there are still plenty of douchebags that are willing to take the chance.

FB just makes it so easy to do a lot of things, things that a message board can't compete with. RCC can't go toe to toe with FB, nor should it try, but we do still have some advantages, we just need to work them.

A Harley rider that drives a BMW?

I hit like also, I'm a lazy ass. :flipoff: Like 1BJB said if the button is there, it will get pressed. Makes a man feel warm and fuzzy. Or that's the molson Ice.

Is Molson Ice even a thing? I mean it sounds like it could be, but I have never seen it.

Now Molson Canadian, that’s a thing. Not a good thing, but a thing for sure.

Natedog is gold, his likes keep the RCC morale high.

Thanks, I try to keep my posts positive and helpful! "thumbsup"

This forum can be brought back to life with some dedication to it.

There is still no central blog website dedicated to Crawler news. Manufacturers still know RcCrawler is the central hub, and the forum can take advantage of that.

Additionally, there is no central hub for event organization and if admins were put in place to monitor this website could be that again. Instead of event brite and facebook.

With some good coding the photobucket lost images could be resurrected to bring content back in the older posts.

Awarding contributing members, offering giveaways and a reason to come to this forum is what it needs.

Right now, none of those reasons exist. I've offered to be apart of these positive changes and all my messages went unanswered.

Good ideas, to bad they went unanswered.

I didn't mean for my comment to be negative towards him, he always seems to have a good attitude and is helpful when people are stuck and trying to figure out an answer to a problem. It just hits me as a bit strange when I get a like from a line in a 5 year old thread. Maybe that's his thing, I have no idea. No harm, no foul. "thumbsup"

Thanks, I try to keep my posts positive and helpful! Hehehe sometimes I search or find a thread from back when linked from another more current thread....if it's goood, I like it. :ror: "thumbsup"

Natedog is the king of likes. He gives more likes than anybody I've seen and if you look at his stats you'll find that. There's nothing wrong with liking an old post to give thanks without reviving a dead thread. I do it.

RCC is still here?! I woke up this morning thinking today would be the day of the demise. :lmao:

Thanks, I try to keep my posts positive and helpful! "thumbsup"

Oops, hopefully not soon.

But are you really here?

Agreed! Do I get a cookie now? :ror: 8) "thumbsup"

My oldest brother delivered beer in the mid 90's so I had ALL the advertising propaganda, posters etc. Molson came out with ice, there was a coors light ice and coors light dry too. He still has the Molson goalie stick hanging in his shop.
