hey guys i picked up some dirt grabbers to put on my highlift tow rig and the combined weight of the truck and the trailer it flattens the tires pretty bad! just wondering what i can use to stiffen these things up, id like to get them pretty stiff, almost as stiff as tamiya kit tires haha so any suggestions would be appreciated! thanks guys

Axial Rock Lizard foams are pretty stiff, and pretty sure there are others out there, but not that I know of.

Trinity makes some dual stage type Tmaxx inserts that are super stiff. There's enough foam in the kit for a couple sets of tires.

ok thanks guys, just cut it to fit the 1.9's? I just want the tire to keep its shape while still being stiff, seems like when ive tried to cram them with foam makes them balloon out

Yup, just cut them to size.

I jammed some in my Rovers uncut and it made them waaaaaay tall. Sidehilled like a mofo but couldn't climb verticle for crap. I eventually cut them down and made dualstage inserts out of them.

I think they retail about $35 or so, but I dug mine out of the bargain bin for $10. "thumbsup"

You can also go to your local track and dig the trash for any thrown away truggy tires. The molded inner foam kicks for uber heavy applications. Cutting and gluing is involved but they will be free!

Try reducing some panther f400 foams. They work really well in all the 2.2 comp tires I have ran them in.

You need to clear out some of your PM's. Your box is full"thumbsup".

I had some stiff foams CNC out with you in mind. Please don't feel pressured to buy them, this was something I wanted try. I had some single stage foams cut out of my inner dual stage foam material that are full size.

I have a couple different sizes because they are being tested in short course trucks.

How tall of a foam do you want?
How wide do you want the foam to be?

Let me know and I should be able to take care of you. Thanks,
Eddie
