Rear axles have 2-3mm of play after Beef Tube installation

I used a piece of old axle shaft, cut with my dremel and dropped between the shafts in the locker. I think mine was 3mm

I used a piece of old axle shaft, cut with my dremel and dropped between the shafts in the locker. I think mine was 3mm

I started off with 5mm. Installed, removed and grinded 3 times until I finally ended up with 2.5mm which seemed to be the sweet spot, giving me no binding and/or play in the system.
