Rear chassis mods?

Has anyone done anything to the rear chassis to remove the spare tire and replace it with something else?

I removed the spare and mount as well as the fuel cell. May paint it red and put it back but I'm not a big scaler so to me it was just weight up top.

I hear ya. I am not a scaler either but Removing it completely seems to make it look very unbalanced.

It jumps so flat with it all on there, I wouldn't mess with the balance. Unless you are going slow, then the rear breakover can certainly be improved by removing it all together.

I'd leave it on there
At most take the tire off

But removing the back half makes it look strange

The tire can be flipped around 180 deg if you remove the fuel cell.
