The Axial brand parts are priced at $37/pr. for each! That is insane compared to the same parts for other cars! Does anyone else make a decent alternative? I have had my truck 2 days and they are already losing the steering pivot screws from getting stripped out.

I don't even want to do the conversion for strength, I just need my truck not to fall apart while driving it, and these first 2 days of ownership have been rough! The truck drives amazing when it stays together, but I am a Traxxas guy, and this is definitely not the same build quality out of the box!

Ca glue my friend. Any screw into plastic doesn't need to be super tight, and with ca glue they won't back out.

The dynamite chubs are ok. The only reason I went alum chubs was to complete a beef toob installation.
