Updates!!!!

Yea its update time. Over the week i have made a frame and got the front supension done. the frame didnt turn out the way i wanted to but it-il-do. I wanted it to be 18 1/2 inches long so i made an inch longer for the bends but that wasnt nearly enough. O well, it will be fine im making the bumper have an extension for it. Well im gona go ahead and shut up and heres some pics. O and ignore the nasty brazing job in the front. That stuff is hard to braze.

so what u guys think. The frame may look like its really far back but its actually not bad.

the frame looks a litle tweaked but it may be the back sitting on the weight.

Well im in the process of making scale shocks out of tlt shocks. Im using Bronco's method. Just putting them in a drill press and then taking a file to them. Ive done 1 so far it took me bout 10 minutes to get it lookin good. I dont have any white paint but thats the color there gona be. Heres some pics of the 1 shock ive got done.

And this is bout where it will sit, i still got to make shock mounts.

God i love this stuff!

nice job on the shocks. your ford should have rust (brown paint) up all the body panels and the tailgate (or bearley on) should be gone and no mufflers (lol) if its a true redneck. we have a redneck wood van 2wd decommisioned ambulace thats unibody and all the doors are hard to open because the body is falling down. but tough drivetrain. anyway nice job so far.

Don't change the chassis a bit, nothing is going to make it look more like a true redneck rig than a bent frame that don't track straight!

"i got it from the wreckers for $150.....just a few little dings, but its still good".
