Removing Liquid Mask

I tried liquid mask (Bob Dively) and wasn't getting the fine lines I wanted, so I said screw it and decided to take it all off and use tape. The problem is, some of it doesn't really want to lift. I did a search, but found nothing definitive. What is the best way to remove it if it is being stubborn? There is no paint on the body yet, so that isn't an issue.

I guess a couple of areas were thinner than I thought. Can you build up new coats to bond with the dry ones?

I would try that first and if that doesn't work maybe try a light heat from a heatgun or hairdryer to see if it gums up and rolls off easier.

Scratching it off with my finger nails and patience always works for me.

I always put at least 5 coats on, and let it dry good in between coats. I would reapply and let it cure a couple days. "thumbsup"

its got to be thick and totally cured(clear everywhere) one trick is to lay thread into the third and fourth layers that will make it easier to lift (or tear if too thin!)
When using a brush, it has many different thicknesses, not good for crisp lines as it stretches then. I found a cheap touch up gun has a wide tip, works perfect to apply. I can spray 5 or 6 coats today, and cut and spray tomorrow first thing

The official response from Bob Dively's: "...Just apply 3 more coats of film and let it dry. It should all pull off then."

I was about ready to reapply liquid mask to remove the unwanted, stubborn layers but I decided to try something on a whim:

It is a non-corrosive industrial cleaner. Essentially Windex on steroids. I sprayed it on the body and lightly scrubbed with a paper towel. It is taking the mask off with very little effort and I haven't observed any "clouding".

Another thing that I experimented with is duct tape.
