Removing pin from drive shaft coupler

I need to remove the pin from the coupler on the front drive shaft. Is there some trick to getting it out?

Sorry for the noob question, but I’ve been fighting with it on and off all day.

Just be gentle, it shouldnt be too tough though. I usually let the hammer fall by its own weight and its enough.
