I still wonder what happened to all the Reno guys. There were massive clubs here I was looking to get involved about a year ago but didn't have money for quality rigs. Now I have rigs and it looks like there is no club.

Yeah it is weird. Im going to go talk to the owner o HC&M hobbies this weekend and see what happened. Minden isn't to far away from Reno. What kind of rc toys are you playing with? I have an scx10 and so do my buddies who go out and play.

sounds like yall need to start your own little comp series, and maybe we can do a joint thing 2-3 times a year. where we take turns meeting on either side.

vegas was pretty dead when i deployed about 6 months ago, and what crawlers there was were all comp rigs. i come back to 4times the scalers in town. I think alot of it is foot work mate. the board only goes so far.... gotta get out and talk to people.

Opposite problem up here doublej. There were 2 large clubs here in Reno. I don't know what has happened to them.

Might be because it is cold as balls there and everyone is hibernating for the winter. Same thing happens in SOCAL and AZ in the summer, around September people come out of their RC burrows and starts foraging for batteries and wheels...
