If I want to replace the bearings on my stock xr10 and upgrade the transmission case. Can I just buy the Incision XR-10 Axle Transmision Case and that will do it?
Or should I get the XR-10 Transmision Bronze Bearing kit (7pc.) in addition to the Incision XR-10 Axle Transmision Case?
I'm planning on ipgrading to the Incision XR-10 Axle Transmision Case. But while I'm at it I think I want to replace my bearings too.
Can someone explain?
Thanks

read much?

http://www.vanquishproducts.com/vanquish-incision-xr10-transmision-ca10.html

PRODUCT DETAILS
•3ea. 5mm x 10mm x 4mm precision sealed ball bearing.

the cases and plates come with the bearings.

if you're going with the cases, defenatly get the plates too. that will take car of the bearings on the otherside of the gearbox
(you will still be left with 8mm bearing on the transfer gear)

Read what?
lol
Yeah I saw that transmission case comes with:
•3ea. 5mm x 10mm x 4mm precision sealed ball bearing.
•1ea. M3x.5 SHCS x 10mm
•3ea. M3x.5 SHCS x 20mm
•2ea. M3x.5 BHCS x 12mm

but the XR-10 Transmision Bronze Bearing kit (7pc.) upgrade has different bearing size:
4 ea. 5mm x 8mm non flanged bearing (bushing)

3 ea. 5mm x 8mm flanged bearing (bushing)

to be honest I have no clue what the XR-10 Transmision Bronze Bearing kit (7pc.) upgrade suppose to replace (assuming its for the transfer gear?) If thats the case I'll upgrade it too

bronze bearings (bushings) replace the stock sized 8mm bearings. the VP plates and cases bring the bearing size up to a size that generaly doesn't eat itself. (quality boca bearings to boot too)

I personaly run VP motor plates and traxxas bellcrank bushings in place of all the 8mm bearings.
I have killed 2 gears in my rear axle, and have HD gears coming, aswell as aluminum gear boxes' (unfortunatly not VP, so I will continue to run my traxxas bushings)

going to have to drop another $170.00 to the crawler.
upgrade for VP Case, VP bearings, and VP plate
the XR-10 Transmision Bronze Bearing kit (7pc.) is a boco bearings?

thats what i want to hear - notice the Newbie as my title. Maybe it need to change to "Don't read much"
But really, I'm a noob just wasn't sure - but you save me $50.00 bucks (was going to buy 2 of them) - guess that money goes to reading glasses

wow.... ok sorry, I removed the "s"'s from the backs of a couple words in my last post. seems I have comfused you once again.

you will need 2 cases, and 2 motor plates if you want to do front and rear axle they are not sold in pairs.

Fred is correct in every way. I'll make a list for you, so you can get the right parts for the upgrade.

1. 2x VP trans cases 39.99x2= 79.98
2. 2x VP motorplates 19.99x2= 39.98

That is all you need, nothing more, nothing less. Thats a grand total of 119.96, that dosent include shipping. I hope that helps and sums up the whole question you have."thumbsup"

Oh, also the bronze bearing kit is for those who dont want to dish out the money for the cases and plate. They are just for the stock cases and plates.

Lol that's funny shiz rite there!:) I run just the motor plates and my 5x8x2.5 bearings on the Gearshaft went out and took out the gears. Dam cheap axial bearings. Time to upgrade.
