reverse a servo???

the two motor wires on the back of the motor inside of the servo...

if I switch them, will it turn in the opposite direction? its a theory im trying to work out with a simple 4ws setup for both servos to turn at the same time but in opposite direction.

it would be a simple fix.

You also have to swap the two outside leads on the potentiometer, either at the board or pot. Do it all the time "thumbsup"

Depending on the radio, can't you just reverse it's operation? It's a better option in the long run. If you fry a "modded" servo, then you have to mod another, not something you would do out in the field.

Not if you're using both servos on the same channel, right?

they also make a servo reverser. but the quickest easiest way is to flip the servo horn 180*. remembering this from my clod days.

re-read your original post, you are correct when using 2 servos, they will both reverse.8)

If I remember correctly you can buy a simple Y harness at your LHS that will do the trick.

the y harness will have them on the same channel as I would like. I do not want to flip the servo horn cause I will run into some steering slop issues. plus... these tactic servos are the cheapest for the reasonable mount of torque I needed.

but.. I could just use the reverser... just more wiring and another component on the rig making it a bit heavier.

Likely the best option short of a radio that could do it.

Having the rear servo do the same or opposite of the front ALL THE TIME would likely not be good.

No. It's special made to only reverse one.

No. It's special made to only reverse one.

A SIMPLE (thats: standard) Y harness just split the wire into two, providing the same signal to both.

Then there are some special harnesses that do reverse one of the outputs.
