thinkin bout takin out the carpet in my truck and rhino linein instead. ive seen a few trucks and jeeps that have done this. looks cool and easy to clean and doesnt hold water like a carpet does. i know theres probably stuff under te carpet to cut down on noise and other stuff to hide any wires under the carpet. so would i just take out all the seats and the carpet and rip everythin up, and rhino line just bare floor boards? or do i need to put somethin in to cut down on noise and to hide any wires then rhino line it? thanks!

Rhino liner or any other bedliner type material must be applied to metal. There is prep work involved, thorough cleaning with acetone, scuffing up floorboards, etc. What type of ride are we talking about here? I did Herculiner in my old Jeep, stripped, prepped, applied in my driveway. Very easy and was awesome.

herculiner makes for decent sound dampening, will definitely be quieter than bare with no carpet.

I've got a few friends that've done this to their jeep tubs and I'll say that line x spray in is the best I've seen as a floor coating. 2 used the roll in "do it yourself" stuff and it was great for a while but ended up becoming slick over time, even with lots of the grit in it. The line X is the only one in my experience that doesn't completely turn into a sheet of ice when it's wet or muddy.

I stripped out my old Pathfinder and Herculined it, not hard to do. There was a cork like sound deadening material glued to the floor boards, I left it there anywhere it hadn't come loose. Since the Herculiner has actual rubber chunks in it, it tends to not get slick with wear.

I have done a few boats , and a few car floors . speaker boxes ,, etc. I have a yj I shot the whole thing inside out top and bottom with liner. extreeme liner off ebay a long bed kit with color was like $200 and makes over three galons sprayable. I have been very happy with it and I shot it about five years ago.
