I change the position of the motor on the crawler and put the motor on the right side to fight torque twist seams to work alot better has anybody ever done this?

Its called mirroring your tranny, and ya it helps out a lot. so does droop suspension

much better ways to fight torque twist imho
4 link, for starters
weighting wheels
experimenting w/ link geometry

plus running a mirrored tranny wont allow you to use some dig units

as for droop, the main reason for runing that style suspension is to drop your cg, and not so much to fight torque twist.

I didn't know you could'nt run a dig unit that way I guess I'll change back to the other way I do want to run a dig unit.

You can run a dig unit that way without any problems Vanquish DIG is by far they best dig out there and will fit perfect especially if your still running a stock chassis you have more than enough space.

You don't want torque twist, 4 link the rear try and get your rear links parallel, you can also 4 link the front or leave it 3 link. Another good suggestion is running the rear lower triangulated.

Hope this helps and if your having trouble you can go to my signature and go to my build "thumbsup"

I just mirrored the tranny and sad to say, I saw no immediate help. Maybe after running it a little more I can. I four linked the rear and noticed that helped some. Is it worth while to four link the front as well?

What really helped my rig was triangulating my lowers like mentioned above. I picked up a delron skid from CDW a vendor on this site."thumbsup"
