Rockedup Ricky's Akrcc Deimos

I'M lucky enough to be on the AKRCC TEAM , that has made a chassis that is easy to sey up. All the ajustment holes was the 1st thing that I noticed when I got my DEIMOS chassis. The skid is another great thing about the DEIMOS chassis. The groove in the skid plate really helps hold your line on the rocks. And the side plates being on top of the skid keeps the metal off the rocks for a slick ride.

With Axial 30* bent links on the lowers ,I'm at 12.5 on the wheelbase and a ride height of 2.75. I'm using Traxxas turn buckles #2339 on the top.
I clocked the front about 15* and the back at 18*. There is articulation out the butt.

I got the battery tray from Kamikaze and mounted it on my rear axle. The front steering link came from Kamikaze too. Some redheaded bastard told me about these and I like them.

For the ESC I got a mamba max with a castle bec and a spectrum DRX3 radio, 2 Holmes 35 turn motors, Radio shack swicthes for the digs. Everything fits nice and low.

The body sits right on top of the chassis for a very low ride.

Thanks.In the video I ran Panthers ,I going to try the hot bodys tomorrow. I tryed them on the AKRCC ARES chassis today and they rock with the stock foams. "thumbsup"

My thoughts on the AKRCC DEIMOS chassis. My rig has never handled this good before.
It's stable and predictable and well balanced , it's smooth articulation of the suspension allows for truck to work the rocks.
With the adjustment holes, finding your set-up will be easy. The skid plate with it's center groove that helps to hold your line when dragging the skid on the rocks. I'm learning to use the groove to hang on to rocks .
I support a Team myself, TEAM AVERY. My sons and I will be running AKRCC chassis on our rigs. I built them a AKRCC ARES chassis and it rocks too.
Two great AKRCC CHASSIS and more to come. I got to get working on the Super. ;-)
