I lost a brand new Grasshopper that way when I was a kid. Got it built and on it's maiden run, got out of range and met a curb:lol: Always use fresh batteries"thumbsup"

Thats some funny shit. NOTHING beats a gas car out of control, we used to call those Wild Cats because they would claw, scratch and scream until they found their prey... :lol::lol::lol:

You only need a fail safe if it gets lose on you. Thats why I use good batteries.

I had the receiver pack in my Ofna Ultra come loose, bounce forward, smash into the throttle servo link, bend it almost in half jamming the throttle open and then exit the vehicle. I had a fail safe in the buggy and one in the controller but of course it was mechanical so nothing stopped it but the creek that it took a dive into.:-( Fortunately the batteries were gone so no electronics got ruined.
