RWD sedan with MANUAL trans

I have been reading through this....

A Rwd Mt, 4 door is the Unicorn of the car world! At least in the US. I just picked up a Subaru Legacy Outback (2000' w 200k miles) and have to say it is an impressive drive. Its not huge on power but is not a slouch either. The Awd is great in the snow and seamless in the dry.

I have heard of guys locking the center diff and converting to rwd only.... Just saying.

I also have a old Mazda B4000 4x4, aka Ford Ranger. Another 5 speed and I love this little truck. It gets geat mpg and will go most everywhere. Going to be building it pretty soon here, At least I hope. lol

Other options are Dodge Charger, or.....go awd Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru Wrx, Audi S4, Mazda 3.

Lol sports car aint happening. I had one and had a 3rd kiddo, so I need 4 doors at minimum (and occupancy of 5 or more).
However I had an epiphany a few weeks ago.
If you have ever seen star wars the force awakens...
I need a weapon!
YOU HAVE ONE!

I am like Finn, holding a 1966 corvette 427 manual, and asking for somethong rwd and manual.

DURRRRRR

so now that I realize I have been sitting on the perfect project car (dad willed it to my son so I forget about it sometimes as its not technically "mine"), I can wrench and rip with that, and drive a practical vehicle for daily.
Nearly got a new civic Si but came to the realization...

If I get a truck, I can tow stuff. Like... A vette! A camper! Dirtbikes or a canam sxs thing... I can do truck stuff! AND car stuff!

As for the cars Lonleycreeper suggested...
Go back and read the thread again. I already shot down all those for good reasons earlier.
But here is the quick version...

Dodge charger. Nope. Auto only.
Awd. No, no, no, and since when did they make mazda3 in awd???
Granted, I considered a civic briefly. But I was out of ideas and I could literally drive down the street and have one in 2 hours in any color and they only come manual.

I like to do my own rev matching. That's where most of this automatic hatred stems from. I love blipping the throttle and popping the clutch in the next gear down for approachong curves. Bliss...
Anyway, I can do that with a big ol snorting 427 now. My son has given his blessing as long as the exterior looks original I can go ham underneath.

So... The ford dealership calls me Friday and goes yeah sorry that one we got for you... Misunderstanding. Its 2wd.
I said ok once again, CALL ME WHEN YOU GET WHAT I ASKED FOR.
Done with those dweebs. Going to a different ford dealer tomorrow, even though I feel half dead from this noro virus.

Will update Monday.

I'm late to this party (thread), and it seems you've already figured it out, but I would have voted for an M5. But I've been partial to Bimmers since I was stationed in Germany ('03-'04) and had like 3 different E30's, including an M3. Almost dumped my tax return on an E46 M3 this year, but decided to stick with my 330ci for now. It's too bad RWD/Manual is such an uncommon combination these days...

Ok I kinda want to do this...!

I work with a guy who does vinyl wraps on cars for some additional income/hobby, and he could do this pretty easily.
I would add some trim to separate the two tone, but my truck has a sort of chrome delete package so... Not sure what to do there. I mean, cant have an 80s retro truck without chrome, right??!
Gonna think about this a while.

Since tinypic took a crap, here is what I got.

1.5 years into ownership its not stock anymore... "I made a few modifications myself"
2 inch level
17" raptor wheels wrapped in 33" BFG KO2 (because the 20s it came with are lame and now I can air down)
Superchips flashcal (I can unlock horsepower tunes later with a software update and blow doors off raptors)
Oil separator to catch all the blowby that is common on these 3.5 ecoboost.

I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!

I started off toweing a 5,000 pound 26 foot camping trauler and it barely flinched. I habe since stepped it up to a 7,000 pound 32 foot trailer and its just right. Its rated to tow 12k so its right at half capability. Dont want to go much beyond where I'm at right now.

Next on the list is AEM dryflow filter maybe a trifold bed cover and then... Eventually some king shocks?
Shes a keeper. So glad I strayed away from cars.

*bonus shot before the mods I had a little fun in Ocotillo wells with a jeep buddy lol and yes I towed the trailer 1.5 hours home like that lol
