Sand Scorcher Crawler - Another Bug

Looks great! Add some white walls to complete the look, lol

That engine is looking sweet, I may have to buy those files. Do you recall how much it needs to be scaled down?

Very Nice! I "like"
Is that a sticker on the mirror or a different color filament? Its hard to tell from the picture

I'm also looking for shiny things, lol

There must be an arts and crafts solution, I'm looking at tiny stickers on Amain and RPP for $5 but I imagine a big sheet could be had for that price.

I was looking all over online for an appropriate plastic mirror but I was looking too far away. This morning I stumbled across a small mirror that came in a shaving kit on a shelf here at home. It’s only 0.9mm thick. Perfect! Took it to work and cut two 13mm circles out of it. Gotta love a laser cutter. Then added a small vinyl circle for a frame. Here’s the final result.

Now I’m reprinting the brackets in PETG. First crack at this so we’ll have to see how it goes.

Thanks man! Need to refine them a bit and come up with a mounting system. Hopefully they'll be robust enough to survive any roll overs.

Getting a 3D printer was the best thing I've done recently. Opens a lot of doors. Go get one!

Bit more work in the engine. Going to reprint the distributor cap as I've stuffed it up. Getting there though. Need to decide on paint colours for this Bug next. It's almost warm enough to paint outside.
