As long as things go well at work on saturday, I'm plannin on running a couple packs through my new fastback sunday morning. I'll probably get there around 9:30-10. Anyone interested?
ill be there with my son. still waiting on alllll my new parts to come in but ill bring my temporary pimp cane chassis. my son (6) has a cliff climber that actually does pretty well for a 1:14 scale truck.

there is a slim chance I can make it saturday after lunch for a bit. I will definitely be out there sunday morning. I just finished my fastback build and my lil rockpile at home is just no match for it!

I love it! I thought I had my stock chassis pretty dialed, but it doesn't even compare - and I've hardly started tuning the FB!

I looked at the other side of the bridge and it's fenced off on the park side. looks like there's access on the RR side but then it's a little walk since the only parking around is the park.
oh yeah, BTW, Im only running 8 3/4oz. in fronts don't know what I was thinking when I said 11oz. I'll try to have my steering worked out before I go there again!!

That sucks, cuz it looked like there were some pretty nice rocks over there. Oh well I guess...

I'm not looking forward to it, but I think I'm gonna pull my fronts apart and add another couple ounces to each wheel. Just gotta shift that COG another 3/8" forward and I'll be happy.

ima check out the other side this weekend I think and see what the walk looks like along 17-92, maybe a machete to begin a path . between no panhard, sloppy c's, and plastic wheels I still had fun!! I'm trimmin my body right now and got a slimmer steering arm,but I still think I did OK, who am I kidding, my truck sux! but it was great watching a crawler out there and I had a blast at just trying!
Do you all ever lay out sections for scalers/sportsman ???
I know it's really rough out there, especially for those that wanna keep their scalers pretty, but not keeping pretty/easy in mind I see a few sections that would be challenging and doable for sportsman. man I was stoked to be able to "finally" work steering enough to climb that set up to the platform !!
BTW that was a nice rig you brought out matt. great meeting ya.
