Where: Willow Springs N Oracle Rd to E Willow Spring Dr - Google Maps

Date: Sunday 11/13

Time: course setup begins @ 8am, drivers on course at 9am.

This new spot at Willow Springs is fairly remote. The road is accessible by car permitting we don't get a lot a rain prior to the comp as the roads out there can get fairly muddy. There are no amenities on site or anywhere within 15 miles of the site. The site is on Arizona State Trust Land and a permit is required to be on state owned land. The permit can be purchased here: http://www.land.state.az.us/programs/natural/RecreationPermit.pdf Simply print out the form. fill it out, and send it in with a check for the desired amount. The cost is $15/individual or $20/family and permit is good for one year. I have had a permit for years but I have never been asked to show it so I personally think the risk is pretty low if you don't want to spend the money on one. I have heard that most times law enforcement will just let you know that you need one rather than ticket you. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

I plan on heading out there early and setting up some signs to help guide everyone to the right location since this is the 1st time. This is a really pretty area and would be great for a scale run so bring your scalers and maybe we can get a run in after the comp."thumbsup"

Hope to see everyone there.

I'm planning on heading out Saturday afternoon and camping out there. Anyone else???

Missy and I will be there. I have to work Saturday and have a lot of other things to get to, so no camping for me. Just to let everyone know, a hunting license is a permit to be on state land trust, so if you have a hunting license you don't need a permit. I have never been asked.

Won't be at this one, my folks are in country at the moment. Hope you all have fun.

Looks like the rain in supposed to hold out until Sunday and they are saying that it will be a light rain now. Camping is still on."thumbsup"

Me and Jared are leaving around 2 tomorrow and we are bringing our dirtbikes!!!

Make sure you bring your scaler too. I won't be bringing my dirtbike but I may bring my mtn. bike and hit a little bit of that trail that goes through there.

Im bringing my scaler, what time are you heading out? I don't know where the spot is
