Here is the start. Didn't think you needed to see a scx-10 being built.

Start to mock up the body. I cut the Muddy one because the Red and Black one is just to nice.

cant wait to see were you go with this you build some real nice stuff"thumbsup" Now get back to work.

so your actually building a truck yourself? Funds must be low huh?

The real question is... are you going to actually bring it to any scale events or the big Tough Truck event this summer?

Nope. Nope. Nope.

Why use a honcho bed? That looks like you are taking shortcuts?

You should really just use the Indy rig, since this build will never be as tough. "thumbsup"

I picked up one of those last night and was thinking on what to do. This is interesting and it looks like something us mere mortals can do!

Great Minds think alike. I am doing a JK Pickup. Already have the cab basically done and the tailgate and fenders trimmed up for the bed. Interior is ropughed out. Going on a SCX10 Chassis with 2.2 TSLs. Tossing between a Summit or an Axial Tranny.

But since I have so many other projects sitting around, only really working on bodies. Also my shop is to darn cold to work in and I am not sure my wife would be happy if I fired up my torch inside.

Very easy to cut. Yes if you use the Honcho truggy they do look and fit really well.

Can you show me this truggy honcho you speak of? All the honchos I own are full frames with a tube bed? Or are you another confused noob calling all tube bed built trucks a truggy? :lmao: :flipoff: jackass.

how many terms do u have for a tube bed truck?

One - a tube bed truck = tube bed truck

Truggy = Half truck, half buggy... no beds, tube or not.

And to not totally hijack - Looking forward to another cool build Saydee. "thumbsup"

lol thanks for the reply, i was jw how many terms he had? in most conversation most ppl will say truggy. jw why he was being negative towards him. maybe he knows saydee
