could just cut the frame behind the cab and attach the shocks to the bed and you would have a true truggy... Otherwise it is just a flatbed. Ive also always been irritated by people that call flatbeds truggies, it takes away from people that truely build truggies.

I think what he has plannecd is exactly what a Truggy is. According to Wikipedia:

"A truggy or truggie is a specialized off-road vehicle. Truggy is a portmanteau of the words truck and buggy. The truggy nomenclature is derived from using a truck frame as the basis for the vehicle, whereas a "buggy" would have started from the chassis of a Volkswagen Bug.
Truggies are most commonly built for off road racing and occasionally recreational purposes. A majority of them are built at specialty shops that know and understand the rules of the racing classed. Popular racing series that include these vehicles are the Baja 1000 and Baja 500. Truggies might be built from scratch, or they might be heavily-modified street vehicles that have been altered to the point that they barely resemble their original form.

A truggy generally has several defining features:
-A full roll cage, built off a factory style frame.
-Large off-road tires.
-Long-travel suspension, featuring a solid axle in the rear and independent -suspension in the front.
-Low gearing usually featuring dual transfer cases or aftermarket gears in a single case.
-Locking differentials
Many truggies are equipped with powerful engines and winches. Some are street legal, though many of them are built and used for off-road use only.
The most common recreational uses of truggies are rockcrawling, and desert racing, such as the Baja 1000."

That is the plan. I will be cutting the frame I just placed the honcho back for a temp fix or reference point.

p.s. I feel honcho's are cheater rig's :ror:

That is nice work.

I took the rear lower section off, I think I am just going to do the same with the back.

I also got a few other idea's rolling around. MIght change the direction for now.

Like the way it's looking in this pic. I'd definitely look into fabbing your own rear tubework for it, whether it's a tube bed or you chop off the rear rails and make it into a truggy :ror: Will look 10x better than the honcho one I'm sure "thumbsup"

Thus making it a REAL Truggy. "thumbsup"

I would really like to help people learn the correct terminalogy. Thats all. and a little ribbing.

no, i think BigBaller is just a ASSHOLE to saydee
Again, ribbing.
