Specifically a 4 cylinder diesel in 10 or 12th scale?
Anybody know of any out there?

:shock:Damn!
Thats rad, but Im kinda thinkin something I can hollow out and put a planetary transmission in with a 540 can motor.
How about any flat fours out there? Hell I might even be down for a straight 6 if the size is right.
Thanks
Ty

The free motors are only 1/18th scale though, and a lot of the liberty classics or revell/monogram motors are 1/8 or 1/6 scale, it may actually be hard to find a 1/10 scale. Especially a 4-banger diesel...

I think your best bet is styrene...

Hey Ty I missed this thread sorry for the late reply to it but an easiy way to make a motor like you want is to carve it out of blue or pink construction foam,,fiberglass it the cut it in half and remove the foam with some nitro fuel

Heres a pic of the 1/8th scale 22re i carved

Nice I will have to try that.
Unfortunately, I am going to have zero room to do it on my TJ build, I thought I might but it is just not in the cards for this one.
Thanks though Thomas."thumbsup"

I heard a rumor this weekend there maybe a cummins 6BT coming out in 1/10 scale.. he is just finishing up on a Hemi, a chevy, and a Ford engine.

I'd really like to get a fake plastic V-8 to put in my 1/10th trail rig..

Also a V-8 that simply snaps onto the top of a 540/550 electric motor... kinda like the snap on heat sinks, but with the look of a real motor...
