"Crawl For The Dogs"​

Pineneedle Rock Park​

Cost $10(lunch included)​

This will be another fundraising event​

for something that is dear to many of our hearts>​

"our pets"​

​

many animals are left in shelters without homes/families animal shelters have to ​

put down many good animals that need good homes.​

Bring (2) large cans of Dog/Cat food or (1) small bag of Dog/Cat food and Receive (-150) bonus points off your final score.​

We will also be accepting clean towels/blankets ​

and dog/cat treats for donation as well. All proceeds will be donated to the local ASPCA​

Schedule:​

Driver sign in's at 9:00am​

Crawling by 10:00am​

course #1​

break for lunch​

50/50 raffle​

kids can crawl during lunch for free(10-under)​

course #2​

Each driver will run twice​

1st-forward through the course and then break for lunch then gates will be changed, course reversed and run again.​

This is a single's event so don't forget those hand straps and winches.​

We will be using a simplified scoring system that we tried at the first scale n trail​

The focus being on high penalties for​

(Gates, out of bounds,"HOG", etc)​

Running 3 classes ​

1.5,1.9 & 2.2 trail​

"​

No penalties for front dig, winching-(must use natural objects or part of the course)​

"NOT YOUR SHOE"​

Scale items may be used without penalty, but if used they must be carried on your rig.​

Hand tow strap may be worn on the person but it adds ​

to the "scale" if carried on rig​

we are going to have a swap meet starting at 8:00am. So bring out those new/used/unwanted parts to sell/trade. Your stuff can be on display all day for people to check out if you would like

Very funny Mitchell. I went ahead and added you to the 1.9 class. You should bring the trail finder and try out the course and put some scratches on that perdy orange paint...:roll:

I talked to Eric "the bug" who is helping me out with this and I think we're going to add another class to the lineup. It will be the "Open" class "run what ya brung" so anyone will be able to crawl that day. Open class would make every truck/rig able to run. And if someone wants to run multiple classes it's fine with meSo if you got more people with MOA's they can run that class, as well as anyone else. This is all about having fun, meeting people and raising a little money for a good cause.

Just going to let everyone know. I've decided that the open/run what ya brung class is going to change a little. I'd like to see a few people sign up if they are interested. It will be as follows. Any combination of any kind of rig you can dream up as long as it's 1/10-1/8 size. Will be run with no gates. Only penalties will be out of bounds and hand of God. Anything else goes. Fastest time wins and winner take all....

Anybody interested. We will run this class last after everyone has run. To ensure damage to the course does not impede all other classes that day.
