10 AM (moved up from our normal time to help people get there)

Classes will be
C2 (basically 1.9 trucks, Honchos, dingos etc)
C3 (Basically modded 2.2 scalers, honchos etc)

This will be a scale COMP. Scale points will not be awarded but, we encourage you to be as creative with your trucks as you want. Each class will run 3 courses. After the comp, we will do a trail run.

Scoring will be standard scoring with 1 exception. There will be "bonus" style gates that may be ran for double the points. To explain it a little better, you will have 1 gate going over some rocks that would be 2pts or you could take the gate thru deep water for 4pts.

ive been to this place, pretty cool spot but its a hike so pack light or bring your wagons.

You sure your thinking of swallow cliffs? Its only about 200' from the parking lot to the first comp area. We will be going back in a little further as the day goes though.

Our other Palos spot is a 1/2 mile hike.

Looks like it should be a good turnout. I need to work on my trucks.
straight from my mind to tapatalk

the place where the soccer moms in yoga pants walk up the big ass hill of stairs? maybe i dunno where im talking about. it happens all the time... ;)

soccer moms in yoga pants... yup, that's the right place :flipoff: I just don't see it as very long walk... not compared to our other Palos location.

Hey SCRC... I'm not a member but I was hoping to be able to come down and check out the action and bring a few trucks. I'm out in Downers Grove and NOBODY I know does RC of any kind :x I'm getting sick of driving alone and never seeing any trucks but mine.

I'm not familiar with Toboggan Hill....

If you don't mind I would like to tag along if someone can give me some directions.

Directions are in the first post and here they are again:

We always welcome new people to come out, the event is just for fun. Even our "points" events, are open to all.

ah, sorry about that. I was reading on my phone and didn't see the hyperlink.

got it now and I'm excited for the event....thanks!

I'm pretty sure a few NIRC guys will make it.

Johnny you better use this as practice because it appears you have a few spots to move up in the NWI TTC series the 13th.

I wish i could make this but i will be setting up Dollingers for my TTC that sunday. I hope you guys have a good turnout and the day goes well.

Lets cross our fingers... I finally have 2 scalers working at the same time so, its prolly going to rain. Ill be up early and will try to make the call by 8am.

Much more than a sprinkle and we will prolly have to cancel... The area is flash flood prone, with very little rain.

Me and the kids had a great time today!!! Thanks Jeff for taking the time to give me the in's and out's of crawling! I will be back fo-sho"thumbsup"
