"Scrappy" the grocery getter S-10 Blazer

I finally got this one painted up! "thumbsup" I started on final assembly, but didn't quite finish before having to get my son to bed. I should have her together and running tomorrow night. In the meantime, here's a closeup of the front bumper piece, and how I mounted the winch. "thumbsup"

All painted, wired up and done! 8) Figured it must be time to pull her into the garage and get her loaded for her first outing. "thumbsup" I got the longboard in, guitar packed up, coolers packed, and barbecue all ready to go! "thumbsup" sounds like a fun trip. ;-) well, here you go, let me introduce "Scrappy". 8) "thumbsup"

I have to say, this one turned out a lot nicer than I thought it would. I wasn't planning anything special, but somewhere during the build this one really took off! "thumbsup" And as for the purple, what can I say, I like purple. 8)

I love the styrene work on that bumper and how you mounted the winch. Not sure I'd have been brave enough to go purple but it looks great! Nice work :)

Nice looking little blazer, you have any pics of your whole fleet?

Here are the three I have finished, and running. I also have a red S-10 truggy that's doved on both ends. She just needs axles and a tranny. Then there's my green Camaro made from a micro-T. She was in a major accident and is awaiting a Mad Max style makeover. Then there's also my two other projects yet to be finished. A Toyota truggy, and a class 5 Baja Bug. All in 1/20 scale. "thumbsup"

Last weekend I shot some video, and I finally got around to putting it on YouTube. "thumbsup" While shooting my phone got switched to slo-mo and I didn't notice until I got home. So I had to try to speed things up on the edit. But it'll do for now. Here's a link for ya.

Nice video Rob, I like the location, and the rigs, and the music. :) I posted the link on my facebook page.

Thanks Jim! "thumbsup" the location is my favorite Sunday morning crawl spot. It's the south fork of the Yuba river in Northern California. It's my "backyard", so to speak. 8) I've filmed a few videos there. "thumbsup" As for the music, what can I say, I love ZZ Top! 8)"thumbsup"
Thanks for posting the link to Facebook. If I ever do decide to join Facebook, you'll be to blame! I am curious about your page. "thumbsup"
