SCRCC 2012 Competition Series Discussion

either weekend is fine by me. i will be there to help out and coach jeremy. i will have him on the 15th but i should be able to get him on the 9th if you go that route.

I'm game either way "thumbsup" It's not very far for me so I hate to sway anyone either way. With that said...if the 16th will draw a bigger crowd, Let's get it on!

The 15th is a Saturday. I will not be able to go on the 9th. Sterling I believe we are going to save spartanburg for the crawl-off since most of us has been there and its not a place anyone could pre-run.

Looking back, I think Ryan said 16th. Didn't know if it really mattered too you.

"MOST" of us can't pre-run....I need all the help I can get! :flipoff:

He fixed it...it did say 15th. I'm game for any day other than the 9th. I got some "new" shocks I can't wait to try out. "thumbsup"

From what I have heard, it looks like there is going to be a note going out to all USRCCA clubs that state club comps should not be run on weekends of USRCCA National Series events.......so that drivers do not have to choose if they are trying to run in a state series. USRCCA supports/sanctions our clubs so the state clubs should support/allow drivers to run the national series. This will affect all the clubs at some point in time.

Looks like the weekend of the 9th would be out with that since Crawlapolooza is that weekend.......

So do you guys think it will be the 16th ??

hey guys.

i wanted to post this here and make it official. i have already posted it on the NC forum.

i have been tempted to get out of the pro class all together but after much thought i cant just walk away. i had really hoped to run both the NC and SC series this year but it would just spread me, my wallet, and my time too thin trying to keep 2 rigs competitive in 2 state's series. not to mention it wouldnt be fair of me to do. i live dead in the middle of both series and could possibly take a top 5 spot in both state. that would knock someone out of the state runoff and i dont want to do that. so as it stands right now and unless something major changes between now and the beginning of the 2012 SC series, i am going to only run the NC series. now if jeremy wants to compete i will bring him to the SC series events.

with that said, i will still be attending the SC comps that i can just not competing. i will be there to help in any way i can or am needed to. setting up courses, judging, time keeping, coaching new drivers, or anything else i can do to help.

i will be bringing my rig with me so we can always use it to set up finals and get a more accurate time on those courses. i will probably hang around after each comp to run the course just for the practice or possibly with all the new guys getting in i can take them as a group and run the courses with them with me going 1st to help them see the courses and what they need to do. that all can be discussed at a later date and i look forward to seeing all of you out on the rocks this season. "thumbsup"
