Well heres my 1st shot at a 1.9. Don't want to go balls to the wall scale as I want the rig to preform as well as look good. I'm under a dead line here my club is having a Tough Truck Comp in June and this is what I'll be push'n.

I picked up the frame and wheels/tires form a friend and, The body came from a old RC of my son's.

Do to the Krout Wagon being a little short I needed to trim the frame rails.

After thinking about it I fig'd I trim the front only & give the rig a shorter front wheel base. Might help Might not.

For tires I have the stock SCX-10 ones.
I went a head and trimed the foams in half so that they will have penlty of give to them with out having to vent the rims. Seeing as he will need to be waterproff venting will not work here.

Couldn't wait to get rid of that damm green on the rings

I was going to put wights in the front wheels but, I'm not realy sure if that is some thing that will work as good in a scaler as it dose in a crawler. Any input would be nice. I'm going to need a lot of help here I'm sure of that. "thumbsup"

haha I was wondering if you had started that thing yet. BTW, I've got the lower links for that as well still. Let me know if you want me to bring them Sat.

Cant wait to see more..Oh ya, much better without the green and with the clean tires:lol:

the gwagon body tends to be top heavy. thats why I cut mine off and made it a soft top.
the body has great approach and departure angles, especially if you cut the bumpers off (I had to after I broke part of them off).
I weighted my alum beadlocks pretty heavy and it helped a lot.

Are those 1.9 claws on there?
I was thinking of getting a set of RC4WD 1.9 Rock Crushers for it and, I know they are a little taller then the Flatiorn's. Would they be to tall? Those Claws seem to fit nice under there.
How much weight did you put in each wheel?
By the way your rig has got me thinking of a pick up bed for the back of the wagon.

Shit dude if you don't need them bring'em on. "thumbsup"

Nice to see you getting a 1.9 scaler Allen."thumbsup" I need to get my YJ build in gear and finished so I can wheel in the TTC as well.

You'll get far better traction with the Flatirons then with the Rock Crushers in my experience. As for weight, I usually run 2.5 - 3oz in the fronts of mine and 1oz in the rear.

The tires on Pantablo's rig are cut down 2.2 Claws.

Looks like your off to a good start."thumbsup"
