I think my old beater Chevy 4x4 Scaler, Needs an update.
The top pic of my truck as it is now.
The bottom pic I did on my computer, With a Red door and molding added.
I think this is the route I want to go with. ~ What is your option ?

I like the door as it is. Not digging the red. I think it needs a few scale bullet holes in the rear quarter panel and a rifle rack in the back window. A driver with a big bushy stache resting his elbow on the window sill would kill it.

I am filling in all the ugly dents with JB Weld and it's working out grate,
You just have to wait 12 hours to dry before sanding.
There is a lot of sanding involved & refilling & more sanding...
It's not going to be perfect there will sill be small dents in the body.
Going to just paint the under and outer body Matte Black and be done with it.
{ Not my Truck in the bottom pic, But what I want it to turn out like }

I got it all taped off & the first coat on as a primer coat. Now sanding & more sanding...
The way I have it taped off is looks to have a camper shell, Maybe I will make a camper shell for it later on ???

does look cool with a back on it. maybe just braze some brass rods over and canvas the back. then can remove and just show the rails when you dont want it ;)

I am glad that I am not a { Perfectionist }
Because there are sill a lot of flaws in the body but so be it.
The sand mark scratches that showed throw the paint are from tree branches going throw the two tracks in the woods.
And that's all I have to say on that. LOL ~ I like the way it's turning out so far.
Wait till I get it all together and the trim painted silver. ~ Back In' Black ~ Rock 'On !!!

Looking good! Must have been some rough trails. ;)
I'm liking the canvas tent thing. Looking forward to what you work out.

I my not be a { Perfectionist } But I pay a lot of attestation to detail so I guess there is a fine line there between the two.
I got the molding painted and the front grill & rear bumper & window put back on.
Well back to the detail part, Like painting the window vents / rain gutters and the trim around the windshield Silver.
Just them small details make a lot of difference of the over all look of the truck. Just basic modeling skills.
The sand marks did not show throw as bad as I said they did was just down playing it.
That canvas top for the bed will be on hold for a few weeks. It would make a good winter project.

I added a few stickers that I can always remove just playing around with different looks.
I may paint the letters on soon as I do find the look I like the best.
A few options for the side of the truck bed.
CHEVY 4x4 ~ That I have on there now.
